Trim the all cotton wick to 1/8-1/4 inch EVERY TIME you light it. Then let it burn 4-5+ hours at a time, until the melt pool nears within 1/4-1/2 inch of the edge. Once it has burned down about an inch, hug that crust inward gently to ensure that your candle burns all the way down with no waste.
The candle is engineered to burn down into itself consuming all of the wax when burned properly. You can also burn it so that it makes a “tunnel”, using the scented shell as a hurricane lamp. Make sure to always burn it away from drafts or it won’t burn evenly.
The wick is constructed from natural, flat, cotton threads interwoven with paper threads and contains no lead, zinc or other materials.
The Beeswax is purchased here local in Washington and the only fuel to emit Negative Ions when burning. Dust, hair, odors and other things floating in the air are doing so because the particles are positively charged. Allergens and toxins become positively charged through static electricity created by heating systems and friction caused by normal household activities.
